British Rappers Professor Green And Plan B Return To Their Roots For Hackney Weekend

The streets of Hackney, London will be buzzing this weekend for the ferocious Radio 1 Hackney weekend! Music fans from across the UK are expected to flock to the capital for the event and will be donned in their best wellies and ponchos to see some of the greatest artists currently topping the charts.
From Rihanna to Professor Green, Kasabian to Nicki Minaj, Plan B to Lana Del Ray and Rita Ora to Leona Lewis – the endless list of stars to attend and perform at the event is truly astonishing, concreting the weekend-long festival’s status as possibly the greatest music event of the year. With six stages dedicated to sheer talent and fantastic performances, festival goers will certainly not be disappointed.
It is safe to say that both celebrities and fans alike will have an amazing time, particularly so for some performers who will find the weekend particularly momentous performing on their own home-turf. UK rappers Professor Green and Plan B, real names Stephen Manderson and Ben Drew, both are originally from Hackney and are said to be extremely excited about playing to large Hackney crowds.
