Kasabian have high hopes for their new album ‘Velociraptor’, due to be released on September 20th.

During an interview with the Daily Star Kasabian stated that they hope their new album ‘Velociraptor’ can acquire comparable global victory to Adele’s recent album release, ’21′.

Guitarist Serge Pizzorno told the Daily Mail that he’s an immense fan of London singer ‘Adele’ and of what she has achieved on both sides of the Atlantic. He said “Adele shows that people can still sell records in a time where no-one buys records anymore – good on her”.

“She comes across as a real sweetheart. I tip my hat to her. Adele is so refreshing as she’s cool and not the archetypal character – she’s not like Jennifer Lopez or Christina Aguilera”.

“We’re blowing up around the world and this album could be the one to take us to new places.”

So… we’ll just to wait till September 20th in order to discover whether Kasabian manage to go straight into the Album Charts at Number One!
